What makes an ebook?
eBooks simply means a book in an electronic format, read on an electrontic device such as a computer, e-reader (Kindle) tablets (iPad) or smart phone. They come in different formats; PDFs, ePub, azw/mobi, rtf.
The difference with all these formats is how they perform in the different reading devices. PDFs vary based on how it was created, but the majority don’t reflow and some may not adjust scale for better reading.
ePub and mobi (Kindle format) reflow according to your e-reader’s screen size. In additions they will have various features, such as different fonts and adjusting font size, changing colour, bookmarking and a table-of-contents (TOC).
